2nd WEAKER LINK Activity of 2018
Next post
Of the four activities (BODY, MIND, SPIRIT, SOUL), which do you feel has fewer strengths compared to the others? Once decided on your chosen WEAKER LINK at this stage of your life, follow the associated activity.
BODY: Today’s BODY test will be easy at first, but challenging with time (you may want to do this over a sink or while in the shower). With an 8-16oz plastic cup, fill it to the very top with water. With one hand, place the cup of water on the back of the other hand. Carefully put your free hand under the hand holding the cup on it’s back, and raise your hands and arms in front of you straight at shoulder height, without spilling more than a few drops. Try holding this for as long as you can, or refill the cup and try holding for a minimum of 30sec. If after 3min you are still struggling to hold this pose for 30sec without spilling, then you should practice your balance. You can also use stacks of loose playing cards for this activity.
MIND: Today’s MIND test is write your name. Easy right? However, write your name using your opposite hand, then in the opposite direction, then upside-down, and finally doing so in all the opposite directions at once (do each five times). Now it’s not so simple, is it? If it is simple, try doing your full-name in this manner.
SPIRIT: Today’s SPIRIT test, separately give five strangers each a positive, truthful, AND non-flirtations complement.
SOUL: Today’s SOUL test, while laying down put ear plugs in, a folded hand towel over your eyes to block out more light, take slow/focused breaths, and try to silence your thoughts for a full 30secs. If you feel yourself begin to think of anything other than breathing and counting, start the 30sec over again. Do this test for a full 3min.
That’s the end of today’s WEAKER LINK activity. Check back in tomorrow for the 2nd SPIRIT Activity of 2018.
