NEW BEGINNING TO LIVINGLIFE-BLOG

NEW BEGINNING TO LIVINGLIFE-BLOG

Yes, it’s true, nearly a whole year has come and gone once again! Maybe you’re ready for the new year at hopes for a better one. Maybe you’re looking back and wishing you followed though with 2017 New Year’s Resolution. Or maybe you’re just thinking, “I’m so tired, I’ll be long asleep before the celebration begins.” Of the infinite possibilities each one of us has looking to go into the new year, one thing is for certain, 2018 is nearly here for us all, “What will 2018 mean to you?”

To me, 2018 will be my first beginning year not working night shift, my 1st year beginning with my wife, 1st year beginning with my new career, and my 1st year dedicated to spending more time with family (INCLUDING MY LIVINGLIFE-BLOG FAMILY :-)… Yes, you!) Though I haven’t been writing many blogs this year, I have spent many hours looking through, planning, and mapping out much of my ideas for 2018 to begin a new LivingLife-Blog calendar.

I’ll be focusing much of my attention writing brief activities that I’ll be doing each day, and will do my best to keep many of these activities under three minutes, since many of our schedules and lives are hectic it seems. In effort to keep routine, but reduce boredom of routine, much of these activities are split up in four-week segments, in patterns, and in many formats so few activities fall on the same day through the month. Many month’s, or weeks, will have a main activity focus to take another step in the pursuit of living a more balanced life.

Of the four main activities:

  • BODY – activities to strengthen the body, improve balance, connection to your physical limits, challenges to find and break through the barriers that have weighed down progress, etc.
  • MIND – activities to challenge and grow the mind’s limits, to expand limitations, to create stronger connections to the other activities, to bring the mind into focus, etc.
  • SPIRIT – activities to drive you toward further motivation, to find strength in oneself, improving projection of success into the world for further development, test boundaries, etc.
  • SOUL – activities to bring us down to earth and reality, to expand our thoughts to higher dimensions, to strengthen acceptance, to think outside the box of life, etc.

There will be two additional focuses:

  • WEAKEST LINK of the four activities that you feel you’re falling behind on. Strengthening the weakest of the activities to build a more stable foundation.
  • STRENGTH LINK (or FAVORITE) of the four activities that you feel defines you, or wish to strengthen further build a niche in life.

To emphasize a point real quick, yes I believe life needs to be balanced, however, I believe success most often is found when developing a specific strength to become successful. This is why I include developing what you consider already a strength, with the added development of creating stronger links to further build a stronger individual.

For a quick view of 2018 LivingLife-Blog Activity Overview, I’ve added a picture below (a bit blurry, but can click the link below for a PDF version)

This is only a quick guide, and does not include the activities. These will be coming out throughout the year, and I’ll do my best to keep 2018 activities posted each day. Though a bit blurry, you can see that I tried to color coordinate the activity days.

  • BODY – light blue with blue font
  • MIND – light orange with orange font
  • SPIRIT – light green with green font
  • SOUL – light red with red font
  • WEAKEST – light purple with purple font
  • STRENGTH – darker blue with white font

Along with weeks &months being broken up with different patterns/focuses, you can see I’ve also broken up the months into quarters with a quick guide to the number of activity days per activity focus.

I’m very excited to bring this to life, and be one step further to my 2018’s LivingLife-Blog goal. With only four more full days to enjoy of the 2017 year, it’s difficult to not think into the future of the broad possibilities of 2018.

With much of my life taking a huge improvement with only a half-year being on day shift, it’s bringing me tremendous excitement to (hopefully) continue having a full life working days and LivingLife.

This first trial of LivingLife-Blog has been enjoyable for me, and although it has not developed into what I wanted thus far as a blog/community site, the benefits in my life that I dreamed to have in my life have greatly become a reality far better and sooner than I ever anticipated.

Thank you again for joining me on this adventure to LivingLife, and I wish you all the best of the 2017 year-end holidays. Be with your loved ones, and enjoy every last-minute of 2017!

Until next time, keep LivingLife, and take care of yourself and those you love!
